How to make a complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We aim to get things right for every client. If we haven’t, we want to know, so we can put it right and learn from it.

You can tell us about your complaint in whichever way suits you:

It helps if you can include your name and contact details, the business purchase or finance application your complaint relates to, what went wrong, and what you would like us to do to put it right.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your complaint within three working days and tell you who is handling it.
  2. We investigate. Someone who was not directly involved in the matter will review it fairly, and may contact you for more information.
  3. We give you our response. We aim to resolve complaints within four weeks. If we need longer, we will tell you why and keep you updated.
  4. Our final response will be sent in writing within eight weeks of receiving your complaint. It will explain what we found, what we will do, and the reasons for our decision.

Making a complaint will not affect the service we provide to you.

Complaints about a lender

iLendi Capital is a broker, not a lender. If your complaint is about a lender’s decision, terms, or how a loan is being managed, please raise it directly with that lender using its own complaints procedure. We are happy to help you identify the right contact.

Complaints about your personal information

If your complaint is about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first using the details above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
